Our post is named for Army Captain Eli Lamar Whiteley

Captain Eli Lamar Whiteley was born December 10, 1913, in Georgetown, Texas.  Captain Whiteley received the Congressional Medal of Honor for valor in World War II for his actions in SigolsheimFrance in 1944.
